This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Mohd. Kassim Abdul Jabbar, President of United Indian Muslim Association (formed in 1965) from 1990 to 2003. He was People's Action Party Member of Parliament for Radin Mas (1981-1984); Member of NTUC Central Committee (1979-1985); and President of Union of Keppel Shipyard Employees of Singapore (1969-1988) and Pasir Panjang Indian Muslim Association (1990). He was awarded the Veteran of Labour award by the National Trades Union Congress in 2002. Title devised by Library staff.
