This is a close-up of Mr. Leu Yew Chye, Chairman of Bedok South Secondary School Advisory Committee (1993-1998). The school was founded at New Upper Changi Road in 1980. It shared its premises with Temasek Secondary School and Hong San Primary School until June 1980, when both schools moved out. It was relocated to former site of Bedok Primary School (demolished) at 1, Jalan Langgar Bedok in 2003 and the new campus was declared open by Mr. Abdullah Tarmugi, Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for East Coast GRC (Siglap), on 21 February 2004.
