This book comprises 2 parts. The first part consists of short captions and over 100 black and white and coloured plates depicting landscapes, social life and customs in the Malay Peninsula with a section devoted to the order in which to cultivate rubber. The second part consists mainly of lists and details on the rubber and coconut plantations and tin mines owned by the Japanese in the region, as well as a directory of the Japanese living there and their occupations.
