Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles

Nearly 200 years ago, Sir Thomas Stamford Bingley Raffles set foot on Singapore to establish a trading post for the British East India Company. His 'founding' of Singapore is one of the most important and significant events in the history of modern Singapore.
