This photograph depicts a Samsui woman who is sqatting down to work on the grooves between tiles at the MOE (Ministry of Education) building. She is putting something into the white bag and a broom is propped up against the wall next to her. A piece of brown paper covers her characteristic samsui red headgear. She is also wearing the blue samfoo (sometimes spelt samfu), a tunic-and-trouser suit. Title devised by Library staff. Date of creation estimated.
