This 1982 photograph depicts Circular Road, near its intersection with Lorong Telok. Rows of shophouses line both sides of the street. Several parked vehicles including vans and cars, can be seen on either side of the road. Two Art Deco style shophouses with geometric and symmetrical features are also seen on the right of the photograph. Circular Road is so-named because it follows the curve of the Singapore River. Title devised by Library staff.
