This 1890s photograph from G.R. Lambert & Co. shows a view of Coleman Street. On the right stands Hotel de la Paix, which operates in the premises formerly built by Coleman to serve as his personal residence. Coleman Street was named after George Drumgoole Coleman, the first architect in Singapore. Title from inscription, on front of photograph. Date of creation estimated.
