This 1992 photograph depicts a house at no. 4E Bedok Road (at rear of Bedok Rest House). The Bedok Rest House is not found in the present day street directory. Bedok is Malay for the drum that was used in pre-loudspeaker days to call worshippers for prayers at the mosque. Title devised by Library staff.
