This is a photograph from E. A. Brown's collection. It shows a long boat with many rowers at the New Year Sea Sports, in 1931 or 1932. The annual regatta is held at the Singapore Harbour, off Collyer Quay. Several buildings can be seen in the background, like the Hotel de L’Europe, the new Municipal Building and the spire of St Andrew’s Cathedral. No creation date provided.
