United Chinese Musical Association Orchestra at Wembley Cabaret : group photograph

This is a group photograph of the United Chinese Musical Association Orchestra, with some ladies and representatives of the Wembley Cabaret, at the cabaret. All are dressed in formal attire, with the musicians posing with their musical instruments. A silver trophy cup is placed onstage, in front of the drummer. The stage backdrop depicting cranes in a water lily pond and peacocks on branches, with a sign "Villanueva's Rhythm Boys" can be seen in the background. A caption above the photograph reads: "Photograph taken in commemoration of the visit to Penang of members of the United Chinese Musical Association Orchestra who rendered music in conjunction with Villaneuva's Band at the Wembley Cabaret for three nights from 19th to 21st April, 1935."
