This 1984 photograph depicts a side view of a shophouse at no. 89 Joo Chiat Road (east side at south corner of Joo Chiat Terrace). The two-storey corner shophouse features two French windows on the upper floor, with wooden louvred shutters. Street stalls have been set up by the side of the shophouse, with seating areas sheltered by canvas sheets. Title devised by Library staff.
