This is a 2004 photograph showing a general view of Yue Hwa Building with balconies with metal railings and grilles, glass windows and arches in a Modern Movement architectural style. The building was designed by Swan and Maclaren and also features several double light lamp posts on the sixth storey. The building, which was formerly Great Southern Hotel, is now a departmental store. People's Park Complex can be partially seen in the background. Title devised by Library staff.
