This is a 1950s photograph of the Katong seafront in the east of Singapore. A platform extending out to sea can be seen in the picture. Subsequent land reclamation resulted in the destruction of beaches in Katong. Donated by Lye Siew Fong, and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_124....
