This 1972 photograph shows the east bank of Kallang River, at Kallang Road, from Sir Arthur's Bridge. It shows a view of a river with work boats, and plants by the riverside. The Kallang River is the longest river in Singapore, flowing from Peirce Reservoir to the coast near Nicoll Highway. Title devised by Library staff.
