This image shows the back of the postcard "Queen's View and Loch Tummel, postcard". A message in black ink is handwritten on the divided back of the postcard. Dated "1/8/22 10pm" and numbered "II", the postcard is written by "S. H." to "Miss B. N. Song". The writer writes to share about their travels to Braemar and Balmoral where they viewed the Balmoral Castle from a distance. The writer also writes of a harrowing drive on the double-hairpin bend of the Devil's Elbow. The text "Davidson's Silver Tone Series" is printed on the left margin of the postcard, while the text "Ideal D&S Series" is printed at the top above the divided back margin of the postcard. A text in the area marked for postal stamp indicate that the postcard is printed in Britain. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
