This 1985 photograph shows Sungei Bedok (Bedok river), at Jalan Pari Burong. There are some buildings in the background. Bedok is Malay for the drum that was used in pre-loudspeaker days to call worshippers to the mosque for prayers. Title devised by Library staff.
