This 1984 photograph depicts Fisher Street, towards the open space at Cumming Street. It shows rows of shophouses with cars and trucks parked along the roadsides. Several high-rise buildings can be seen in the background. Fisher Street is named after Admiral Sir John Fisher (1841-1920), a World War I hero. Title devised by Library staff.
