This is a 1982 photograph of a row of three-storey shophouses found in Spottiswoode Park Road, which is located near the Tanjong Pagar area. Spottiswoode Park Road is probably named after one of the partners of Spottiswoode & Co. They were William, Charles and Archibald Spottiswoode. The photograph shows a view of three shophouses attached to each other. The shophouses feature three rows of French windows divided by secondary pilasters to create separate bays with rounded arches. A car can be seen parked by the side of one of the shophouses. Title devised by Library staff.
