This 1971 photograph shows the interior of a house with a work or study desk and some cupboards. A plaque inscribed with gold Chinese characters (实至名归) is hung above it. This house is the ancestral home to the late Tun Dato Sri Sir Cheng-lock Tan in Malacca. He was the founder of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), which advocated his cause for the Malaysian Chinese population. Title devised by Library staff.
