A black and white postcard of palm trees lining the paths of a garden in Tanjong Katong. The popularity of palms as ornamental plants for drive-ways and gardens in Malaya was partly due to the ease of growing these trees in the tropics. The four men walking in between the palm trees could be Indian labourers or servants. This card has a divided back. Some writings are found on the back. Date of creation estimated.
