This is a 1991 photograph showing the Old Lim Chu Kang Road. At the end of the road, is the Straits of Johore and Cashin House. This remote area overlooking Selat Johor was once a farming area, where the Lim clan of immigrants, also known as Kang Chus, cultivated the land for plantation. Title devised by Library staff.
