This is a photograph taken in the 1960s of the former Supreme Court, which was built in 1934. The Supreme Court moved to its new premises in 2005. It gives a general view of the Supreme Court building seen from a distance amidst greenery. The Old Singapore Supreme Court building was designed by Frank Dorrington Ward in the classical architecture style. Features Supreme Court building with the dome and balcony which is supported by Corinthian columns, belonging to the classical orders of Greek and Roman architecture. A Singapore flag can be seen flying from the building's roof top. Photograph donated by Chua Ai Lin and displayed at Heritage Roadshow 2007. Title devised by Library staff
