Pomelo fruits : close-up

This 2010 photograph shows pomelo fruits being sold at a fruit stall on Sago Street, before the Chinese New Year in 2010. The pomelo signifies abundance, as the Chinese word for it sounds like the word for "to have". These fruits are usually sold during the Chinese Lunar New Year, Mid-autumn or Mooncake festival periods. Title devised by Library staff.
