This is a 1992 photograph showing Armenian Street, towards New Mayfair Hotel and Stamford Road. The hotel is no longer found in the present day street directory. Armenian Street was named after the Armenian Church, a national monument dated 1835 and the oldest church in Singapore. Title devised by Library staff.
