This 1967 photograph shows a two-storey shophouse, along Sims Avenue. Typical of Peranakan residences, the swinging doors (pintu pagar) can be seen in front of the main door. Dividing its windows are decorative pilasters. Under the two casement windows are plaster relief panels, with coloured ceramic tiles. Also seen are decorative fretwork fascia underneath the eave of the roof. Title devised by Library staff.
