This 1992 photograph shows Jalan Eunos Avenue 4, with a view from Jalan Eunos Service Reservoir and Booster Station. The old service reservoir supplements and provides backup water supply for the eastern regions of Singapore and stores water mainly from Bedok Reservoir. Both Jalan Eunos Avenue 4 and the Jalan Eunos Service Reservoir are not found in the present day street directory. Jalan Eunos was named after Mohammed Eunos Abdullah, the father of Malay journalism and first editor of Utusan Melayu. Title devised by Library staff.
