This 1978 photograph shows the northern side of Rochor Canal Road, from Prinsep Street corner. Rochor Canal Road is said to be named after the Malay word rochoh, which means "to mark out with a pointed stick". The roads mentioned are near the Little India area. Title devised by Library staff.
