This 1992 photograph depicts shophouses along Clyde Street, from the side lane towards Beach Road. In the background can be seen a partial view of one of the Gateway buildings. Located in the Kampong Glam area, Clyde Street is an expunged road that was named after Clyde Terrace Market that stood in the vicinity. Title devised by Library staff.
