This 1995 photograph shows Alexandra Road a traffic junction at Alexandra Road, in the vicinity of Commonwealth Avenue and Leng Kee Road. A double-storey car dealer's showroom is seen at one corner, together with a partial view of the mass rapid transit (M.R.T.) track. Laid out in 1864, Alexandra Road was named after Queen Alexandra (1844 - 1925), consort of King Edward VII. Title devised by Library staff.
