This is a photograph of a corridor lined with drawings of self-portraits created by over 3,000 students from more than 40 primary and secondary schools. These students have created their self-portraits without drawing their faces. Instead, they have carefully thought about the important things in their lives that define them, and drawn them down to represent themselves. This artwork project, displayed at Old Kallang Airport, was developed by Matthew Ngui (Artistic Director Singapore Biennale 2011) and the Biennale Outreach Team. Title given by organisers.
