"I am Mrs. Rajalakshmi Rangarajan, from Mumbai, India. I worked and lived in Singapore from 9th November 2018 to 24th July 2020 and am back in India. I am extremely happy to have lived in the beautiful island nation. I was thoroughly impressed with the way the outbreak of the pandemic was handled in Singapore. Photography is my passion and I have been able to take many photographs in Singapore during my visits to the different places of tourist attraction. Also, I had captured the various steps taken during the pandemic. This is one of the earliest I saw in Singapore though I had seen some tourists sporting masks in Universal Kingdom during the Chinese New Year holidays. Been to a clinic in Globe Building on Cecil Street for some consultation and found this notice just at the entrance. I did put on a mask. Sanitizer too was there at the reception."--Contributed by Mrs. Rajalakshmi Rangarajan, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This photograph shows a notice placed on a stool at a clinic reminding visitors that they are required to wear face masks before entering the clinic. Additional description by Library staff.
