This 1983 photograph shows Havelock Road, between Alkaff Quay and Chin Swee Road (opposite York Hill). Havelock Road was named after General Sir Henry Havelock. On one side of the road there is a row of buildings. Alkaff Quay no longer exist in Singapore. Title devised by Library staff.
