Scaffoldings around the clock tower can be seen in the picture, indicating that works on the clock tower are in progress. The image was reproduced from a book in the National Library Collection. Photograph taken by Wan Yue Kong of Chew Studios; contributed by Lee Kip Lin (forming part of The Lee Kip Lin Collection).
