Sewing reusable masks for the community during pandemic

"WFH- ironing board became desk for my laptop as well as desk for my sewing machine. Got a chance to volunteer with others to sew reusable masks for the community while we stay home to stay safe. Stay home stay safe- work from home, sew for friends and community, draw the birds that I see from my balcony. Send love packs to loved ones. Keep busy during this period to keep sane and upbeat."--Contributed by Lynette Soon, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This photograph shows reusable face masks being sewn for the community during the pandemic. Besides the masks, the photograph also shows a sewing machine. Additional description by Library staff.
