Cordoned off tables and chairs at Chinatown Complex Food Centre during circuit breaker

"Tables: out of bounds. Back in April 2020, as the number of community cases rises daily, I couldn't help to think if there is an invisible vector within the community. This shot was taken on the first Sunday of Circuit Breaker (CB). It was crazy. Seeing all the seats at the hawker centre being wrapped to prevent citizens from planting their butts on the hawker stools. I've never seen such a scene. I was one of those 'essential services' staff who had to carry out work at this hawker centre. It was such a peaceful (yet scary) Sunday morning at a very busy hawker centre/market. Everything was quiet. It seemed like time just slowed down with all the uncertainties this virus brought along. So, 要珍惜眼前事物 [cherish what we have]!"--Contributed by Lee Min Jue Vanessa, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call.
