North Boat Quay, with godown and shophouses : general view [1]

This 1983 photograph shows North Boat Quay (from South Boat Quay, near Ellenborough Market). There are shophouses along the bank of the Singapore River, as well as a godown on the right. The road along the quay, which is also named North Boat Quay, has been turned into a pedestrian mall with the restoration and redevelopment of Clarke Quay in the 1990s.
