Dr. Wu standing, second row, extreme right. This photograph shows Dr. Wu Lien-teh with Chinese and Russian officials in front of Taheiho Hospital. In all there are 25 men and five women. One of the women is in a kimono. Dr. Wu, a Penang-born physician, led the fight against plagues in China. This was taken in 1914. Title devised by Library staff.
