This 1900s photograph has the printed words "Botanical Gardens, Tanglin." on the front. It shows staff working on the sprawling grounds of the Botanic Gardens, which was set up by a revived Agri-Horticultural Society in 1859. Roads, terraces and a bandstand were constructed in the Gardens. Almost the entire original layout designed during that time remains today in Tanglin. Date of creation estimated.
