This 1983 photograph shows Mountbatten Road, from Lorong 8 Geylang. It shows a view of a paved road lined with trees on both sides, and a road divider between the traffic directions. Mountbatten Road is named after Lord Louis Mountbatten (1900-1979), Supreme Allied Commander in Southeast Asia from 1943 to 1945. Title devised by Library staff.
