This 1983 photograph shows a row of shophouses, located at no. 183 - 195 Sims Avenue (between Geylang Lorong 21 and 21A). Sims Avenue was named after Sim Kia Jan, who was a managing partner of Chin Huat Hin Oil Trading Co., director of Sze Hai Tong Bank and a committee member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
