This 1985 photograph shows a colonial bungalow with a verandah. The bungalow has fretwork fascia along the edges of the roof, and a driveway that leads up to the verandah. This type of bungalow is slightly raised from the ground, probably due to the fact that it faced the seafront in the early years. It is likely to be located in the Katong area.
