This picture shows a flooded area in Potong Pasir in the 1970s. A rattan processing shed has been flooded, and bundles of wet rattan can be seen gathered on a patch of muddy ground just out of reach of the floodwater. Meanwhile, most of the area surrounding the house and the shed is still flooded. Title devised by Library staff.
