Former Federated Malay States Railway Administration Office building, 1955

This photograph shows the building of the former Federated Malay States (FMS) Railway Administration Office. Designed in the Indo-Saracenic revival architectural style, it is a two-storey building that features a domed tower and arched windows and entrances along the corridor. The building was handed over to Selangor Public Works department after the FMS office moved out. It currently houses the National Textile Museum. Photograph taken between 1953-1956.
