This 1983 photograph shows a row of shophouses, located at Onan Road corner (at Changi Road). Onan Road was once a coconut plantation. Built by Chew Joo Chiat around the 1920s and 1930s, Onan Road is under the conservation area of Joo Chiat since July 1993. Title devised by Library staff.
