Group photograph of six Caucasian ladies and six gentlemen at Tiger Breweries's function

Hiap Chuan Joo was one of the largest sawmill factories in Singapore. Located at Balestier, it produced wooden crates used for beverages including Coca-Cola and Tiger Beer. Taken in the 1950s this photograph shows a group of six Caucasian ladies and six gentlemen at an exhibition of woodwork factories' products. It is likely to be a function of Tiger Breweries. Hiap Chuan Joo was an exhibitor. Title devised by Library staff.
