"Project meeting onsite at Camry Medical Centre. L-R: Dr Teo Boon See (CMC), Khoo Yi-Lin (TI), Michelle Evaristo (TI) During the COVID-19 pandemic, GPs from Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs) were asked by the Ministry of Health to do COVID-19 swabbing in their clinic premises. In mid-May 2020, our team, consisting of volunteers from Temasek International (TI) and Camry Medical Centre (CMC), a GP clinic, collaborated to design and build a swabbing booth to protect the GPs and facilitate swabbing in their clinics. The booth was manufactured by Applied Total Control Treatment Pte Ltd (ATC), a Singaporean precision engineering company, and the project was supported by Temasek Foundation. Out of this close collaboration, in less than 2 months, the booth was designed, built, tested, refined and distributed to 170 PHPCs who requested it. It has been named the COSMO SafeSwab Slim booth. It is currently being used for swabbing in clinics around the island."--Contributed by Swabbing booth team (Dr Teo Boon See, Esther Li, Michelle Evaristo, Khoo Yi-Lin, Teo Hui Keng), as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call.
