A 1982 photograph, showing Loke Yew Street, taken from Armenian Street, facing towards Hill Street. Loke Yew Street was named after one of the richest men in Malaya, Loke Yew, who was the father of Dato Loke Wan Tho of the Cathay Organisation. Title devised by Library staff.
