Boat Quay in the 1890s : general view

This 1890s photograph from G.R. Lambert & Co. shows a view of Boat Quay. There is an inscription, "Boat Quai.222" (now Boat Quay), on the front of the photograph. In the background, stands Fort Canning Hill and Elgin Bridge (built in 1862) near the foot of the hill. Title devised by Library staff. Date of creation estimated.
