This photograph shows a scene at "Switch Off the Lights, Please", a performance art by Tang Da Wu, a Singaporean artist. Tang is dressed in white overalls and safety helmet, and is standing on a sandbag wall securing a torch light to his leg with adhesive tape. The performance was presented under Guinness Raw Theatre I, at The Substation Garden between 6 and 17 December 1991. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
