This photograph shows a vacant Palladian-style bungalow located at 3 Nassim Road. It used to be the Tiger Oil House of Jade (翠玉楼), which housed a magnificent collection of jade and was open for public viewing. A tiger head sculpture can be seen on the roof façade, in reference to the owner, Mr Aw Boon Haw (胡文虎) of the Tiger Balm empire. The photograph was taken in 1987. Date of creation estimated.
